The Squiggle Floor Lamp is a study in controlled organic form. The continuous S-curve tube is CNC bent from 1-inch diameter aluminum alloy with a radius tolerance of +/- 0.3mm, ensuring a smooth, consistent waveform across every unit. An integrated high-CRI LED strip runs the full length of the tube’s inner curve, delivering warm, glare-free ambient illumination that highlights the sculptural form while providing functional room lighting.

Thermal & Structural Performance

The aluminum tube acts as a passive heat sink, dissipating LED heat through the 1.2mm wall and 1-inch diameter surface area. Measured LED junction temperature at maximum output: 68C (ambient 25C), well within the 80C maximum rating. The CNC bending process maintains tube roundness within 2% deformation, ensuring the LED strip adheres uniformly to the inner curve for consistent light output. The weighted zinc base provides a low center of gravity (4 inches from surface), ensuring stability; tilt test on 15-degree incline passed without tipping. The powder coating is cured at 180C for 20 minutes and tested per ASTM D3359 (cross-hatch adhesion, rating 4B+).
